Is Luke jesus?

We all passively accept Jesus as God incarnate; a Mediterranean hunk who healed the ostracised, and atoned humanity bleeding on a wooden pole.

But this means we become close minded, and blind. If we accept Jesus is dead, we won't see the truth. We begin to accept a stagnant view of Jesus, which is the hypothesis of my research - God is present on earth, in the form of a familiar ginger face…

Luke, a humble white boy from the lake ridden lands of England, is someone most people would glaze over. How can a ginger have any divinity? Logically, this concept is philosophically sound - God will want to test his creation and our ability to spot the divine among us.

How does Luke resemble Jesus?

-His chroma is idyllic and fits perfectly for his purpose. A ginger canopy holds strong resemblance and hints of the afterlife; if we as humans are reminded of the threat of hell, we will not sin. In fact, his colour palette is like a peek into the depths of hell, the flaming reds that permeate and characterise his skin, the already mentioned hair - regarding colour psychology, it can be concluded he is a personification of the religious realm.

-His glasses, too, act as a portal to the transcendent world…perhaps if we put on his glasses, we would see the world as Jesus does? This is evident in the bible; in Luke 4:12, it states “Luke is Jesus, the glasses are a signpost of divinity.” His innocent glasses also reduce him down to a struggling male, exactly like Jesus as a lower-class peasant.

-The imagery created by his pale skin is also a harsh delivery of criticism to the worldwide accepted view of Jesus as a white man, though anthropology and cultural analysis suggests he has a descent characterised by a darker complexion. This prophetic tradition of Jesus-Luke corresponds with the historical Jesus but is a contemporary reflection on our issues today. Wouldn't God want to address the issues of now? Yes. And it's obvious he has done so through Luke.

A dichotomous purpose of his white skin is the function of representing purity and divinity, like the role of a white wedding dress (further reflecting on modern and traditional notions within our society). Only a fool would conclude that Luke isn't Jesus from these adequate sparks of evidence.

Why Luke?

Luke as Jesus sifts the truly good from the okay - only the religiously enlightened will be able to recognise Luke as the Messiah. Because of his respectable blandness, comparable to a vanilla ice cream, spotting this special figure truly ensures their places in the velvety pleasures of heaven.

Picture this - you are a commoner walking down the cold streets, you’ve been taught that Jesus is dead. In fact, it would be ridiculous to try and find Jesus, or challenge this idea, and attempts of this would result in being labelled derogatory terms like ‘wildly schizophrenic’ and ‘dangerously unwell’. If you saw a male, a very common male, who fits in with the society you are embedded within, would you bat an eye? Would you consider him to be a religious calling?

Chances are... you wouldn't. A study from the institute of Lukeology (2023) found that 99% of people would ignore Luke, or not even notice him! This is perfectly sensical; bringing back Jesus is a big event, so God would likely wish to do so slowly, by letting Luke-Jesus wean into earth, and gently reveal himself.

This is undeniable evidence for the view that Luke is Jesus.
